Hardware
The scope of the Field Cable Test Box tool is to allow the check of correct mapping of the field signals on the modbus matrix of two servers.
The hardware of the tool is designed to facilitate the connection of conductors with quick couplings.
The activation of the switches allows to send the signal of the associated conductor to the PLC than will be maps on two modbus server.
Software
The software allows you to check the mapping of the field signals on the modbus matrix of the servers.
The tool reads the project data (Cable, Core, Signal Description, Word and Bit) from an excel file and for each Word & Bit pair it checks the status on the two modbus servers (S1 and S2).
By operating the switch associated with a core it is possible to verify the change of state on the two modbus servers (S1 and S2).
